Club's new look
About Gussage Social Club
GUSSAGE Social Club was formed around 100 years ago in Club House, the building attached to the current premises. The club was enlarged when the brewery provided members with an old Army hut on the same site.
That is still the club's home today and in the past two years it has undergone extensive refurbishment to provide a relaxing atmosphere and well stocked bar at extremely reasonable prices for members.
The club, whose present chairman is Peter Eyres, holds regular entertainment including live bands, bingo, poker and quiz nights as well as barbecues and tractor gatherings. It is also home to a darts team.
The social club welcomes new members at all times.
* Gussage All Saints has its own pub in The Drovers Inn, once called the Earl Haig. The new name is fitting as the sheep drove runs alongside the inn where the shepherds of yesteryear herded their sheep on to Harley Down. Contact the Drovers through: www.thedroversinn.biz
